How to select and meditate with bible verses

When you figure out the chapter you will be using, determine the maximum number of verses in the chapter.  Use that number to continue with this formula. Minimum = 1 and Maximum = (last number of verse in chapter)  Then go to the random number generator link,  and fill in the Minimum and Maximum numbers.  The number produced is the number of verse you may use.  For example Psalms 1 contains 6 verses.  The minimum number is 1 and the maximum is 6.  Any number can be generated between 1 and 6.

If you do not wish to use the random verse generator, you may simply hand select a few verses you wish to meditate on through the day.

When you have decided on 10 separate verses to meditate on throughout the day, select 5 or more times to read, speak, sing, use, decorate with the verses to help you memorize and keep the verses in your mind, hopefully on a permanent lifetime basis.  It is generally recommended to simply read aloud 5 times each day but other methods may be used.

Why meditate?  Meditation helps fuel the spirit.  The bible contains pure words.  When we fret over the troubles of our world (shootings, economic turmoil, mental problems, family turmoils, women in workforce and welfare, abortion, etc etc) we loose our sight on Christ.  When we loose our sight on Christ we loose our joy in life.  Reviewing the verses regularly keeps us going through life.
