A great resource for biography introductions.....
I personally prefer to use "raw books" to get TRUTH based information about the various people from history, but to encourage a greater understanding of the people in history, a person can start with a good resource that introduces the famous people at a "child's reading" level.
Here is the website: https://gardenofpraise.com/leaders.htm
This particular website also contains various bible quizes and introductions for free!

Using the bible helps prevent "burn out"
If you are having a "bad day" in education and you can't seem to find all the paperwork and "power" within or the energy to look up or teach certain facts and figures that are "of this world," do not worry.
The BIBLE alone (KJV works great in English) will help restore such energy when it comes to education. It contains many truths that will apply to many different subjects in many different ways.
Some families have enough energy and equipment in their own home to read through the bible in a year. That is wonderful if you are able to do just that. Others simply have enough time to read through a chapter a week. That is ok too!
If you are having a bad time dealing with something simply read and ask your child about the passage that you have read. The child will learn many things by this read and reflect method.
Later, when the children can read and write independently, they may use textbooks to enhance their learning and study independently.

Ezekiel (Eze 26:1) And it came to pass in the eleventh year, in the first day of the month, that the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
(Eze 26:2) Son of man, because that Tyrus hath said against Jerusalem, Aha, she is broken that was the gates of the people: she is turned unto me: I shall be replenished, now she is laid waste:
(Eze 26:3) Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Tyrus, and will cause many nations to come up against thee, as the sea causeth his waves to come up.
(Eze 26:4) And they shall destroy the walls of Tyrus, and break down her towers: I will also scrape her dust from her, and make her like the top of a rock.
(Eze 26:5) It shall be a place for the spreading of nets in the midst of the sea: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD: and it shall become a spoil to the nations.
(Eze 26:6) And her daughters which are in the field shall be slain by the sword; and they shall know that I am the LORD.
(Eze 26:7) For thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will bring upon Tyrus Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, a king of kings, from the north, with horses, and with chariots, and with horsemen, and companies, and much people.
(Eze 26:8) He shall slay with the sword thy daughters in the field: and he shall make a fort against thee, and cast a mount against thee, and lift up the buckler against thee.
(Eze 26:9) And he shall set engines of war against thy walls, and with his axes he shall break down thy towers.
(Eze 26:10) By reason of the abundance of his horses their dust shall cover thee: thy walls shall shake at the noise of the horsemen, and of the wheels, and of the chariots, when he shall enter into thy gates, as men enter into a city wherein is made a breach.
(Eze 26:11) With the hoofs of his horses shall he tread down all thy streets: he shall slay thy people by the sword, and thy strong garrisons shall go down to the ground.
(Eze 26:12) And they shall make a spoil of thy riches, and make a prey of thy merchandise: and they shall break down thy walls, and destroy thy pleasant houses: and they shall lay thy stones and thy timber and thy dust in the midst of the water.
(Eze 26:13) And I will cause the noise of thy songs to cease; and the sound of thy harps shall be no more heard.
(Eze 26:14) And I will make thee like the top of a rock: thou shalt be a place to spread nets upon; thou shalt be built no more: for I the LORD have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD.
(Eze 26:15) Thus saith the Lord GOD to Tyrus; Shall not the isles shake at the sound of thy fall, when the wounded cry, when the slaughter is made in the midst of thee?
(Eze 26:16) Then all the princes of the sea shall come down from their thrones, and lay away their robes, and put off their broidered garments: they shall clothe themselves with trembling; they shall sit upon the ground, and shall tremble at every moment, and be astonished at thee.
(Eze 26:17) And they shall take up a lamentation for thee, and say to thee, How art thou destroyed, that wast inhabited of seafaring men, the renowned city, which wast strong in the sea, she and her inhabitants, which cause their terror to be on all that haunt it!
(Eze 26:18) Now shall the isles tremble in the day of thy fall; yea, the isles that are in the sea shall be troubled at thy departure.
(Eze 26:19) For thus saith the Lord GOD; When I shall make thee a desolate city, like the cities that are not inhabited; when I shall bring up the deep upon thee, and great waters shall cover thee;
(Eze 26:20) When I shall bring thee down with them that descend into the pit, with the people of old time, and shall set thee in the low parts of the earth, in places desolate of old, with them that go down to the pit, that thou be not inhabited; and I shall set glory in the land of the living;
(Eze 26:21) I will make thee a terror, and thou shalt be no more: though thou be sought for, yet shalt thou never be found again, saith the Lord GOD.

Use a KJV Holy Bible. Have the child read the passages. Use a children's bible story book like Ergermeir to come up with some questions. Also use a modern day secular reading skills book to help develop questions which apply to the category given and which lead the student to comprehend what he or she is reading. (Note: secular schools will reference knowledge about buddah and emphasize no importance or great importance. and other non-biblical themes...this is why we need private or home schools)
Level One: Passages Four to Six verses long, Five write in answers and five multiple choice or true false answers. Child recalls information about what was read and then copy-work from what the child understands. Spend about 30 minutes per day on subject matter.
Level Two: Passages One or Two Chapters long. Three write in answers and 7 multiple choice or TF answers. Child recalls information by writing in cursive writing journal 2 to 4 paragraphs in length. Spend about 1 hour per day on subject matter. If need practice in writing, spend an additional 30-45 minutes writing practice.
Level Three: Passages up to three chapters long. Three write in answers with more thought. 10 multiple choice or TF answers. Reflection papers which are at least 2 notebook pages in length. Well written expression of understanding. Spend about 1 hour per day on subject matter.

Create a cost-effective liberal arts college degree
Liberal Art's college degree's are effective for the godly man or woman. However, the cost for them is increasing to the point where the 'faith' principle proposed by them, is not going to match the effectiveness. Instead of helping the one pursue the education, the student will come out of college, with a poor moral standing and/or a heavy burden of debt. There is a way to eliminate this problem and still be effective in our world. Seven things must be eliminated to prove that the student is gaining true spiritual wisdom and will be effective in our world.
6 These six things doth the Lord hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:
17 A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,
18 An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,
19 A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.
1. The proud look. The student must not come out of their education assuming they can proudly conquer other's with their knowledge.
2. The lying tongue. The student must come out of the education understanding what parts and pieces of 'man's wisdom' were in fact lies, and what parts and pieces were in fact truth.
3. Hands that shed innocent blood. The student must come out of the education, dedicated to keeping all heartbeats alive and active, from the faintest to the famous, from one's own to one's own enemy.
4. Heart that deviseth wicked imaginations. The student must despise the use of 'creative work' to promote wicked behaviours in other human beings. Work promoted must be holy.
5. Feet that be swift in running to mischief. The student must decide effectively to walk patiently and softly, humming hymns of praise for the life given him or her, rather than shouting angrily at various neighbors for their unbelief.
6. A false witness that speaketh lies. The student must never give evil any ground for rule in the hearts of many. He must judge people according to good deeds, not according to traditions and emotional reasoning. Scorn must not be a part of the student's life, believing that people are designed a certain way, when in fact they are not.
7. He that soweth discord among brethren. The student must be effective in standing for the innocent. He must know if discord was created because of jealousy, pride or some other emotion, rather than giving over to the business of control in others lives.
To ensure the best education, start with creating a possible college course catalog. This gives a full outline of the possibilities in such an education.
The student will receive a degree in a book of the bible. For this example, the major would be in the book of [Obadiah]. Each listed topic will have a textbook, activity or bible portion to enhance the education in the class. Questions, Essays, Tests and more will be created by the teacher leader, so that effective understanding of each topic is outlined.

The second step is to Create titles for possible classes. Be sure to include titles that will reflect your desired college major as being in a book of the bible. For example a neutral subject is 'accounting'.....but include title of class as ''accounting according to the book of proverbs' or another title would be 'Comparison of woman's liberation to the book of Esther'.....
Once class titles possibilities are assigned, make sure there are enough four credit classes to accommodate a college major that is titled by a book of the bible. If your major is in the book of 'Obadiah' then be sure to include at least two possible four credit classes that would be taken by a student each semester. Possibility would be 'comparison of Obadiah to proverbs and ancient philosophical accounts' or 'Obadiah in musical accounts and themes'......
After titles of classes are created for possible college major, the student designs a possible four year plan.
Each semester, the independent student designs syllabus and information that will be gathered to accomplish completion of a class. Include activities such as on-line classes, researching projects, books, musical works, assistance used from local professors and people in workplace environments. Be sure to include days where the student consistently meditates on bible passages related to the class and college major. Tests, quizzes, written reports and so forth should include testing for knowledge of students ability to recall bible verses and themes.

How to create a spelling list for 8 years on up....Simple to use KJV bible....
It is simple to create spelling lists from a KJV bible. Many of the complex words that your child will encounter in life will be spelled out clearly in a KJV bible.
1. Find all the three letter words in one chapter of the bible. Example: Exodus 10.
2. Find all the four letter words in the same chapter of the bible....up to five letter words.
3. Decide to place three three-letter words in a word list, four four-letter words and five five-letter words in a word list. Total of twelve words.
4. Add three additional challenge words.
5. Write the word lists in a note book and use the word list with you regular bible study patterns. Keep track of your child's success in spelling these words.
6. A child eight years old and above can be 'graded' on his spelling skills. Each letter correctly placed gets one point. Each letter misplaced or missing etc. looses one point.
7. To advance your child's spelling skills, you may move up to four, five and six letter words..... with there being six six-letter words. This would make a list of fifteen. Add three additional large challenging words for extra credit points.
8. When the child begins to show strength in spelling, have him write entire verses out by hand. Mark correct and incorrect spelling technique.
9. When the child is sufficient in reading, have him or her define all words in a spelling list and in a bible verse. Build his own dictionary with this method.
10. Be sure to eventually have the child spell the hebrew biblical months of the year, the books of the bible, ...perhaps a list of animals and plants too....names???
You may also encourage the use of other languages. Native American languages are non-written languages. Try hebrew writing and translation. This will help you as a teacher learn the challenges the bible writers faced when seeking to be led by the words of scripture verses and truth found in christ our redeemer.
Keep a series of lists and keep careful records!

How we organize our schooling material.....
A copy of how to organize home school items and subjects. Each week, list all the subjects you would like to cover in a given year, for all the children. List Everything you will discuss for the current week reguarding each subject. Make a little box and check mark when you have completed the subject and other notes. You do NOT have to cover everything.....but be-sure to add a lot of variety.
Sorry this picture is faded and turned sideways......I hope this communicates how to create own educational structure. You may also include menus, medical care, gardening activity and other neccesary 'to-do-lists

In the Lap Bible Reading and Learning Plan
*This is not yet completed but you may begin the curriculum if you would like.
In this world, getting ourselves and even our family to actually read the bible is a "battle." Here is a plan to help you get started. It assumes that previous listeners and readers are not fully knowledgeable of the scripture no matter how many years have been counted in the practice of bible reading, study and usage.
This is a Bible Reading Plan that can actually allow the child to learn to read and write without all the extra "fluff" in the regular public schooling system. If you are exhausted with the extra workload of learning the names of the 50 states or reading 6-7 books of various beliefs and backgrounds a day to each individual grade leveled child, stick with this plan for the day or even the whole year and the child will learn to read, write and develop superior literature skills. The trick to succeeding in any learning program without exhaustion is to "count" the number of words read in a specific amount of time.
The portions of Scripture are spread out in a computer randomization method. "The lot is cast into the lap; but the whole disposing thereof is of the LORD."
A simplified version is to meditate on 10 verses a day, read the psalms and proverbs for a devotional each day, and one story from the other sections according to the day of the month in the calendar of your choice.
We recommend meditation on the scripture each day as this helps build a solid foundation in truth.
****Keep in mind and a warning from experiential exposure to fallen sorrowful individuals with scripture and those who adhere strictly to it*** ALWAYS REMEMBER TO BE RELAXED and DO NOT FORCE ANYTHING related to scripture. Christ said....."And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force". Especially be VERY relaxed and HUMAN with your first born child and the rest will follow in the footsteps and decide to love scripture to its fullest to guide his or her life.
This plan can also accompany other curriculum if you would simply like to listen to the bible portions (instead of regular TV or radio entertainment) listed each day. This is also a good option if you feel you are trying to force your child in any way.

Continue to week 14
